Another very productive day. Lots of changes today. Students went from being kids with ideas to talking and preproducing like filmmakers.
We went from Hello, How Are You? yesterday, to pitch me your idea for your film. All of the inital groups were formed today. They all answered pertinent questions. First what kind of film do you want to make? As clear as they could get. Then your main character is _____ and they want _____? From these two questions they started crafting stories and from those stories, scripts.
Production starts tomorrow for all of the groups. Seeing Chloe start building characters from old 1950's images of women was superb. We had some great AVP alum guests come in today to tell their stories. Lots of filmmaking will be happening tomorrow. Go team!
