Time to Think About Summer 14

Hello Everbody!
Well it's February 1st and time to start thinking about Doyle Summer Film Classes.
Woooooooo!
We just heard that one of our films from last summer made it into the very prestigious South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin.  This hasn't been officially released yet so I will have to tell you which one in a few days, but everyone involved is very excited.
Such a deal.
Ok, let's explain how the summer classes work:
1. This is a blog, not a website.  The newest information is listed first.  You can easily go back and read about the last six years of classes.
2. If you ever have questions or need clarificaton please call me at 214-516-3571, or email me at doylesummerfilm@gmail.com.
3. Each class is one week from Mon-Fri, from 9am to 3pm at our home on the east side of White Rock Lake near the Dallas Arboretum.
4. I think the cost of the class will be $500 for each week.  This is the same price it has been the last six years.  I have been wavering on this.  I know how expensive it is and I try to keep the cost down, but I am doing final purchases soon.
5. One thing that has changed is that in the past I have had two different kinds of classes.  For instance one that is primarily narrative filmmaking and one that is stop motion filmmaking.  After our great film classes last year, when I was asking for feedback from the students, they said that the classes should be more open.  In other words a narrative film could have stop motion elements, and visa versa.
6. With this in mind there will be two classes, Film 1 and Film 2.
7. Film 1 will meet from June 9th-13th, and Film 2 will meet from June 16th-20th.
8.  I am very excited to try this format.  A student can take class for one week, or both.  Again it looks like $500 per week.
9. If you are interested and want to book a spot just call me or send me an email.  Spots will start filling up soon.  We shoot on professional cameras, and edit on professional filmmaking and stop motion software.  I send the final films off to film festivals for juried entry.
10. Most importantly we have a great time, learn a lot, and work as a team.
Just call or email me to save a spot for your student.
More info will be coming soon.
Let me know what you think.
Thank you
Corbin Doyle
