Week 2 Day 1

Superb day today!

Students should be tired but also pretty excited from today.

8 groups formed.

Ideas planted and ideas still incubating for all groups.

We got cameras assigned to each group, and batteries are charging.

Tomorrow, we get scripts together, shot lists, locations, and shoot or first images.

The plan is to get these first shots on computers by end of day so we can see them.

Then Day 3 Thursday will be a FULL day of production.

The mood in the room is great.

The counselors were wonderful.

I will post images and text here every day of the class over the next two weeks.

One Month Away!

 As I leave the house for school early in the am, I don't need to turn on the lights outside.  The birds are singing.  It smells like spring as the flowers are starting to bud.  After years of the summer class, these sights, sounds, and smells mean that the Summer Film Class is close!  I hope everyone is well.  This year's class is May 31st the Tuesday after Memorial Day through June 10.  Like last year there will be that first Saturday thrown in to get our ten days for the class.  The class officially runs from 9am-3pm each day.  Folks are ready to make things.  I will be posting more here as we get closer about what to bring and stories to start writing down.  Let's go get this.  Go team!
