Film 2 Friday

We had a great week this week!

Film 2 Thursday

Almost all production wrapped up today.
Tomorrow we will finished editing, watch each film as a group and talk about them,
eat pizza, and wrap up the week.
It has been a great week.

Film 2 Wednesday

Wooooo!
There should be some tired filmmakers today.
A lot of production.
Noir, vikings fighting, tenacious stop motion, fake severed limbs, hot garages, birthday parties, and much more.
Here is a link to a test we did with the Playground group.
They should be very tired after tomorrow.
Then wrap it all up and pizza on Friday.
Very much go team!

Film 2 Tuesday

Wow, lots of production today.
All three groups doing a great job.
Spent the morning talking about planning the visual aspects of our stories.
Then a lot of training on the cameras.
We had stop motion magic in a dark garage,
a film noir daydream down by the lake,
and a festive/stressful birthday party.
Tomorrow we will continue the work on these productions.

Film 2 Monday

We had a great day today.
Lots of props, lots of great ideas, and three great groups formed.
Production will begin tomorrow.
Excitement is high!

We produced a lot today.
The sun was out.
Everyone should sleep well.
The ownership of these projects is great.

Very energetic group.
Lots of crazy stories from them.
Hard rain this morning and last night.
Power was on and off during the day.
We had great discussions about ways of working.

Just Over 2 Weeks!

I've been seeing scissor-tails around the neighborhood at White Rock Lake.  This is always a harbinger for the beginning of the Summer Classes!  There are just a couple spots left for the Film 2 class from June 16th-20th.
Film 1 June 9-13 - 9am-3pm - $500
Film 2 June 16-20 - 9am-3pm - $500
All you need to bring is a sack lunch Mon-Thurs for each camp.
We have a pizza party on Friday.
Both classes are at our home on White Rock Lake.
We use the lake as a great location for our films.
Both camps use professional supplies to make narrative films.

Film Classes Filling Up

The Film 1 class from June 9-13 is full.
Contact me if this prohibits your student from participating.
The Film 2 class from June 16-20 still has a few spots.

The cost of each class is $500.
We meet Mon-Fri of each week from 9am to 3pm at our home on White Rock Lake.
Last year's film Unicorn Council was just shown at SxSW.
That is our 4th film at a large film festival.
We have a great time as a productive team.

Time to Sign up for Summer Classes

We had an excellent screening of our films at the ISAS Arts Festival.  Greenhill Film was the single most attended event.  They guess around 1300 people were there and a few hundred people couldn't get in when they closed the door.  Our summer film Unicorn Council was a hit.
It's time to start signing up for the 2014 classes.
Film 1 will meet from June 9th-13th.  Film 2 from June 16th-20th.
The classes are at the Doyle house on White Rock Lake near the Arboretum.
Each class costs $500.
We meet from 9am to 3pm.  All the students need to bring is a lunch Monday-Thursday.  We have pizza on Friday.

SxSW Winner!

For the 2nd time in 3 years, one of our films WON the South by Southwest Film Festival.
This year our film Seawolf won SxSW.
Everybody here is very excited.
